Solidarity Sing

Three years ago, the Awildan Tasting Room opened as an outlet to sample our spirits. It’s been an amazing and humbling experience to see the community that has supported our little distillery. Be it trad Irish sessions, trivia, sea shanties, board games, or simply an appreciation for craft spirits, we are so grateful to all of you!

Now it’s Awildan’s turn to give back. We stand in solidarity with immigrants and those defending democracy in our communities. We reject violent rhetoric and actions that divide our society. We resolve to do our part in building an equitable and just country.

As a starting point, join us for an evening of community building, singing songs of solidarity (a similar format to our sea shanty sings—no experience required), and fundraising for the nonprofit group Immigrant Defense Fund. Our drinks will be discounted, our bartenders are donating their time, and all gratuity from the event will go directly to the charity.

Free event open to all ages, but those under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
