BARREL AGED RUM

Spirit made from black strap molasses and cane sugar, and distilled in a traditional copper pot still. Aged more than 12 months in an ex-rye whiskey cask.

Awildan’s Barrel Aged Rum spent just over 12 months in an ex-rye whiskey barrel. Bottled at navy strength, the black strap molasses shined through, with notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and banana. Additional complexity from the rye whiskey barrel was present in the finish, with subtle rye spiciness.
